Welcome to the Emerald Foundation

NEWS RELEASE

Emerald Foundation will hold a Central PA Brewery Showcase Fundraiser on Thursday August 3rd from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Emerald Foundation Community Campus (2120 Oregon Pike).  The proceeds from the event will fund the Emerald Foundation after school meal and education program supporting over 60 at-risk children in grades 2 thru 6 in the Lancaster community in the 2017/2018 school year.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the food and music!  Adults 21 and over can purchase wrist bands or tickets to sample the beer.

The event will include the following:

  • Beer Tasting: Guests will sample a wide variety of beers from the best of Lancaster County’s brewers incuding JoyBoys Lancsater Brewing Company, Iron Hill Brewery, Berwick Brewery, Wilsbach craft brew distributor, Origlio Distributor and many more.
    • $35 for tastes of all samples or $3 for each 3-ounce sample.
  • Brewery Competitions: Local breweries will compete against one another in various categories. After sampling the beers, guests will cast their vote for their favorite brew. Winners will be announced towards the end of the event.
